Amy and her husband, Scott, have been blessed with four children, two daughters and two sons, and one granddaughter. She earned degrees in Psychology (University of Central Florida) and Early Childhood Education (Western Washington University) and retired in 2024 from 23 years of classical homeschool education.

Amy discovered Chesterton Academy in 2008, when the first school opened in Minnesota and was impressed with the plan and direction the school was taking. Years later she and Scott were thrilled to find that the network would be expanding to Knoxville in time for their youngest son to begin as a freshman.

It has been a great joy for her to be able to volunteer at CAMC and witness the mission of the school in practice each day.

If she had one thing to say to those with junior high or high school age children, it would be - Come, and see!
