Biography

Mr. Cameron is from a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. He has two younger brothers. Andrew loved the outdoors and worked at a ski shop when he wasn't skiing in the back country in Utah. He passed away from this life two years ago. Benjamin graduated from Ohio University five years and one day after Mr. Cameron did. They both studied Accounting and Finance at Ohio's oldest university.

Mr. Cameron was exposed to classical education while working at a non-profit in Washington, D.C. Their purpose was to teach Americans about our thirtieth president, Calvin Coolidge. Over time he found himself more interested in his childhood, education, and relationships than his politics and political success. The fact that he was President of the United States one hundred years ago yet never flew on an airplane shows how much the world has quickly changed. Coolidge stated to a friend shortly before his death in 1933: "I fear I no longer fit in with these times."

After moving back to Ohio, Mr. Cameron enjoyed one year of teaching. He taught eighth grade catechism at St. Charles Borromeo and substitute taught at Incarnation Catholic School. Most of his time at Incarnation was teaching sixth-graders English.

Mr. Cameron has sung bass in the local Latin Mass choir the past two and a half years. He learned how to compost last year and is starting to both garden and cook more seriously. Baking sour dough bread has been fun. He and his grandmother learned how to play chess together recently; this has been such a good way for them to spend quality time together.

"Always prefer to have less than more." - Thomas a Kempis, The Imitation of Christ
